This is mostly a technical update that won't affect the server much at the moment,
but will add a lot of customization options in the future.
Here is the list of changes:
- Major XP system upgrade
- now the data is stored on a separate MySQL server in the Azure cloud computing platform. This allows:
- synchronize progress between servers
- in the future, add Steam OpenID authorization for additional features, for example, bonuses for joining a Discord server
- store data more reliably with georeplication. Now data can be recovered even if an entire data center in the Netherlands is destroyed by an asteroid.
- added special cvars to enable/disable certain skills. Previously, if SCXPM broke maps or significantly simplified the difficulty, which made their passage uninteresting, the plugin was simply turned off and players did not receive XP points on this map. Now this can be avoided simply by turning off, for example, the Anti Gravity Device. The same goes for the Hard Survival server. Now you will gain experience on it, but you still won't be able to use your skills.
- plugin has been significantly optimized compared to the original. For example, some functions are called on average 200-300 times less often, but this didn't affect the functionality of the plugin itself.

- Hotline map update (in particular, a bug with missing textures has been fixed)
- Removed:
- Charity system. Thanks to everyone who helped and is helping Ukraine. Perhaps in the future it will return in an updated format.
- V.I.P. Previously, V.I.P. was issued to all players by default and allowed to buy items from the Buy menu for $1, but unfortunately the custom weapon from CS1.6 conflicted with a lot of maps and had to be removed. As a temporary solution, it was decided to increase the XP coefficient for V.I.P. players from the standard 5 to 10 to allow time to resolve technical issues. At first, we tried to find out why it occurs and fix it. When we realized that these were problems with the maps, we looked for an opportunity to make it work only on certain maps, but unfortunately, Sven coop does not correctly load dynamic plugins, so this also did not work. In addition, this plugin caused soundcache errors and other technical issues. Simply put, this plugin is unlikely to ever work again on the server. That is why the need for V.I.P. system failed and it was deleted. The XP rate for all players on all servers is 10.
